Does it work on Windows?
Yes, it does. The application is built on Windows and is compatible on both MT4 and MT5.
Does it work on Mac OS?
Quantum Keys can be used on Mac when virtualizing Windows 64 through Parallels Desktop, Virtual Box or any other Windows virtualization tools.
Can it be used on mobile or tablets?
No. Quantum Keys will only work on Windows operated laptops and desktop devices.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. If any fee applies, it will be shown at checkout.
Does shipping include custom duties?
No, the shipment type will be Delivered at Place (DAP) where customs duties will be paid by you.
Our courier services will contact you for payment and clearance of customs.
What are the delivery times?
Deliveries take anywhere from 7-14 working days for all major destinations. Shipping information will be sent via email.
What is your returns policy?
We have a 14-day returns policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with cards, leaflets, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
How to initiate a return?
To start a return, you can contact us at returns@quantumkeys.co.
When you first contact us please include the following information by way of a report of the fault:
- Your name.
- Order number.
- Date of purchase.
- Date of discovery of the fault.
- Product name.
- Picture and/or video of the fault.
- Description of the fault.
Does it come with warranty?
Yes, Quantum Keys come with a 1- year warranty.
How does it connect to the computer?
It connects to the computer via a USB Type-C.
How do I install Quantum Keys?
An email containing step by step instructions to including a link download the software will be sent to you after the purchase has been made.
Trading
Does it work with any broker?
Quantum Keys is compatible with all brokers operating on MT4 and MT5.
Can it be used to trade indices, crypto or stocks?
Quantum Keys can operate on all instruments made available on MT4 or M5.
Does it act as a trade copier if I have multiple MT terminals opened?
No, it is not coded to be trade copier.
Can I use Quantum Keys on multiple MT platforms at the same time?
Yes, Quantum Keys will be active on all trading platforms when installed.
However, commands will only be directed to the platform in focus/selected.
Can it be used on multiple symbols and charts at the same time?
Yes. To have Quantum Keys on multiple charts at the same time, go to "Navigator" panel on MT and under "Expert Advisor", drag "Quantum Keys EA" on to your charts.
Alternatively, perform the above on one symbol and save it as a template. Load the template as you open a new chart window for a new symbol.
How do I change the input settings of the Expert Advisor?
Access the input settings by pressing F7 on your keyboard.
Alternatively, you can right-click on the blue icon on the upper right corner of the chart and selecting "properties"
How are lot size calculated?
There are four different modes available to you for lot size calculation.
The lot size calculation is based on the current price, the specified price of the stop loss on screen, and the mode selected.
The modes are:
- Percentage of total balance
- Percentage of total equity
- Fixed amount in dollar amount
- Fixed lot size
How does Auto BE and Partial TP work?
These are automatic triggers that will be activated when price reaches this specified price point.
You will need to have the symbol chart in focused opened throughout.
Why does Auto BE and Take Partial functions fail to activate?
Once these two triggers are set, you should not change the chart symbol or this will disable the EA.
For these functions to work, the chart needs to stay open and remain on that symbol. One chart symbol at a time.
How does Pyramid Entry work?
You are able to split your entry into various price points (up to four). These will be placed as limit orders.
For example, if you were to risk 1% of your account, on a single symbol, you can split this 1% into 3 entries. e.g. (50% x 1%) + (25% x 1%) + (25% x 1%) = 100% x 1%
Why are lot sizes not calculated correctly for some instrutments?
This happens due to various reasons which includes the size for 1 contract for that specific asset class, how the broker has setup the instrument on MT.
To resolve this, press F7 for the input settings and under " Risk Management" and adjust the value (in multiples of 10) on the field "Divide Autolot for Adjustment"
Troubleshooting
Why does nothing happen when buttons are pressed?
Please try the following:
- Double click on the chart screen and drag the cursor to see if keypad signal is received.
- Confirm if Quantum Keys installed on MT.
- Ensure Algo Trading is enabled on MT. The icon on the top right should turn blue.
- Check that DLL is enabled on MT. Press F7 and click the common tab and check the box.
- Check if USB Type-C cable is connected.
-Ensure NumLock is turned on. Use the in-built Windows on screen keyboard to do this if your physical keyboard does not have a NumLock key.

Why is a trade not executing?
If the EA prompts that it is unable to open a trade, please go to the "Experts" tab in the MT "Toolbox" window and review what caused the error.
The most common error is error number 4756 which represents an invalid lot size. This is most likely due insufficient funds or margins in the account.
Kindly also check the input settings by pressing F7 and look into adjusting Risk Management settings e.g. Lot type, risk% etc.
Why do I get 6 as a result when I entered 0.6 in the input settings?
This depends on your Windows language and your keyboard profile.
Try replacing the full-stop with a comma and check if it works. e.g. use "0,6" instead of "0.6"
How do I keep track of whether Quantum Key is functioning?
If Quantum Keys encounters any errors, a pop-up will appear within the MT terminal.
If not, you are able to monitor actions made by you with Quantum Keys by going into the MT terminal's "Toolbox" window and clicking on the "Experts" tab.
